First Trailer for Miley Cyrus' 'The Last Song' Arrives

In 'The Last Song', rebellious teenager Veronica Miller is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father in a quiet Southern beach town, where she will find her first love.

AceShowbiz - Walt Disney Pictures has released the first trailer for "The Last Song", a movie adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel with the same title. Making its way out via Yahoo! Movie, the more than two-minute clip gives a preview to the drama movie starring Miley Cyrus as Veronica "Ronnie" Miller.

Ronnie is described as a rebellious teenager who has lived separated from her father, Steve Miller, since her parents got divorced. Ronnie and her brother Jonah Miller are later sent by their mother to spend the summer with their father in Tybee Island, the small Georgia beach town.

There, she meets successful beach volleyball player Will Blakelee, with whom she falls in love. As she is getting closer to the handsome and popular guy, Ronnie manages to reconnect to her father through one thing they have in common, music.

In "The Last Song", Miley Cyrus shares screen with Liam Hemsworth, who portrays Will Blakelee. They are joined by Greg Kinnear, Kelly Preston, and Bobby Coleman who star as Veronica Miller's father, mother and little brother respectively. Directed by Julie Anne Robinson, the film is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on April 2, 2010.
