Married couple, Tina Fey's Claire Foster and Steve Carell's Phil Foster, makes their run from people who hunt them when they are supposed to have a special date night in a drama comedy film.

AceShowbiz - 20th Century Fox has finally released the first teaser trailer for "Date Night", starring Tina Fey and Steve Carell. Making its way out via Apple, the approximately two and a half minute footage has given a look into the romantic comedy movie.
In "Date Night", Fey and Carell play a couple, Claire and Phil Foster, whose lives have become routine. Trying to reignite the marital spark, they set a date by visiting a trendy Manhattan bistro where a case of mistaken identity turns their evening into the ultimate date night-gone-awry. As Claire and Phil try to escape from people who try to kill them, they begin to remember what made them so special together.
"They are a very normal couple with two kids who are sort of worn down by the exhaustiveness of their life and are jolted by the fact that a couple they know, good friends of theirs (Mark Ruffalo and Kristen Wiig) who seemed to be fine, are now getting divorced," Fey previously said about the film. "It prompted them to have this evening out."
Her co-star, Carell, additionally chimed in, "They're an average couple with a nice house and a seemingly nice life." He went on explaining, "And for all intents and purposes, it is. Ultimately, it's there for them to discover that it is. But like anything, you get used to patterns and the sameness of things and lose a perspective on your life."
In addition to the two comedians, Tina Fey and Steve Carell, who play the major characters, Mark Wahlberg, James Franco, and Leighton Meester are among the cast ensemble for the movie. Penned by Josh Klausner, the film is directed by Shawn Levy who also serves as producer alongside Tom McNulty. It is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on April 9, 2010.
