AceShowbiz - Nearly a year after she was assaulted by then-boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna is set to make her first ever TV appearance on ABC later this week, during when she will tell all about the incident. The network has confirmed her scheduled appearance on its "Good Morning America" and "20/20" through a less than one minute promo video.

Rihanna will first appear in "Good Morning America" at 7 A.M. on Thursday, November 5. Then, the following day she will come to "20/20" at 10/9c. The songstress herself hasn't addressed the report just yet.

Rihanna was battered by Chris Brown during a heated argument inside a car in Los Angeles back on February 8. The pair had since broken up. Chris, as a result of the incident, was sentenced to 5 years probation, 180 days of community labor and 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling.

He, additionally, was ordered to stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna, except at industry gatherings when the distance is shortened to 10 yards, and not to have any contact with her, which includes phone, e-mail and text communications.

Rihanna, in the meantime, is waiting in anticipation for the release of her new album "Rated R" on date 23 later this month. She is also booked for a live performance on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas on date 19.
