Refusing to give definite answer if she and Kelli are splitting up, Rosie stresses that though they are currently working on their issues, they will still remain family.

AceShowbiz - Amid brewing reports that her marriage to same-sex partner Kelli Carpenter is on the rocks, Rosie O'Donnell has confirmed that they are indeed "working on issues". She opened up about the matter in an interview with USA Today's Ann Oldenburg on Tuesday, October 20, adding that though they are facing difficult times in their relationship, they will remain "a family forever".

When presented with question whether or not Kelli has moved out of their Nyack home and into Manhattan, as reported by National Enquirer, Rosie declined to give definite answer. She simply stated as tears allegedly welled in her eyes, "Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties."

Furthermore, Rosie told USA Today that the well-being of her and Kelli's four children; Parker Jaren, Chelsea Belle, Blake Christopher, and Vivienne Rose are their top priority no matter what happens in their marriage. "They're adorable and wonderful and they are by far a priority," she mused, adding "But everything's fine and everybody's good and we're still both raising them together. We will both continue to parent them and we're friendly and everything's all right."

Rosie O'Donnell married Kelli Carpenter, who is a former Nickelodeon marketing executive, on February 26, 2004. Their first three children; Parker, Chelsea, and Blake are all adopted, whereas the youngest Vivienne was conceived through artificial insemination.
