Despite rumors that romantically link her to some men, Karina claims she is single and loving every moment of her life as a single woman.

AceShowbiz - Contrary to rumors of her already finding a new boyfriend after splitting up from fiance Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Karina Smirnoff confirmed she is dating no one. "I love being single," she told Hollyscoop at the Fox Reality Really Awards on Tuesday night, October 13. Though admitting she loves "being in love", she insisted she is just enjoying living her life for now on.
Karina's single status declaration thus puts to rest rumors of her getting back on the dating scene upon being photographed going out together with a man at Teddy's in the Roosevelt hotel late last month. And when quizzed about talks of her dating "Dancing with the Stars" partner Aaron Carter, the dancer confirmed, "It's just a rumor. We're just friends and professionals who dance and have a good time."
Commenting on the intense attention that the media put on her love life, Karina told Hollyscoop, "It's great! Sometimes I read it and wish I was living that life. I've learned to deal with it and now I'm just glad they care."
Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are professional dancers and have participated in hit TV competition "Dancing with the Stars". They began dating in the summer of 2008 and announced their engagement on December 31 the same year. Both of them had been planning a June 2010 wedding when a representative for her confirmed on September 8 that the pair called off their engagement.
