Full Nominations List of 2009 AMAs, Taylor Swift Leads With Six Kudos

Taylor Swift's domination at 2009 American Music Awards nominations is followed by Michael Jackson with five nods and Eminem with four kudos each.

During a press event taking place on October 13 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, this year's nominations for American Music Awards have been announced by , and . The repicients are picked up based on "the data supplied by the Nielsen Company's Broadcast Data Systems, which monitors radio airplay performance, and SoundScan, which tracks retail music sales."

, whose album "Fearless" has spent more than 30 weeks on Billboard Hot 200, receives six nods followed by with five and with four each. The country music beauty is listed as one of the contenders for Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Album in Pop/Rock and Country Music categories. Also, she is vying for Favorite Artist in Adult Contemporary Music.

Taylor's sixth nod is as a contender for the top honor, Artist of the Year. She will go head-to-head with Michael and Eminem as well as and . Hours after the announcement of AMA nominations, she tweeted, "SIX AMA nominations??? What????!!! PARTY!!!!!"

Beside competing for Artist of the Year, Michael is nominated for Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Album in Pop/Rock and Soul/Rhythm & Blues Music categories, thanks to his 2003 compilation album "Number Ones" which returned to the chart this year. As for Eminem, the rapper gets his other nominations in Favorite Male Artist in Pop/Rock as well as Favorite Album and also Favorite Male Artist in Rap/Hip-Hop Music.

2009 AMAs will take place on November 22 at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater. The ceremony will be telecast live as a three-hour primetime special on the ABC Television Network. , , and Adam Lambert have been tapped as performers. Fans can visit ABC's official website to vote for the winners.
