Artist of the Week: Michael Buble

Michael Buble's 'Crazy Love' is one of the newly-released albums which is predicted to debut at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 200.

AceShowbiz - After releasing a platinum-certified album entitled "Call Me Irresponsible" in 2007, Grammy-winning singer Michael Buble returns with another studio effort "Crazy Love" this year. The new set is a mix of Michael's original tracks and covers of classic songs.

"I started this record knowing I was going to record it differently than my previous ones," Michael recalled. "I dug way deeper and was more introspective on this one. Basically, I sang the truth - made each song autobiographical - and you can definitely hear the difference."

"I went back to the way my idols made their records. I wanted an organic feel - so people could feel like they were in the studio with me. The musicians and I all sat in the room, recorded it right from the floor and we let the sounds all come together and bleed into one another. It's not contrived. Not too perfect. It just feels really good."

Being made available in four different formats; Standard, Fan, iTunes and Amazon Special Editions, this October 9 release is predicted to rule Billboard Hot 200, going head-to-head against KISS' "Sonic Boom" which arrived in stores three days before Michael's. Should the album reign the U.S. albums chart, this will be Michael's second chart topper.

One of the fresh materials in the album is a song called "Haven't Met You Yet". Being released as the album's first single at the end of August, it peaked at number 8 on Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart. Its music video was premiered earlier this month, featuring Michael sharing screen with his real-life girlfriend Luisana Lopilato.
