AceShowbiz - Katie Holmes graces the cover of ELLE magazine's November issue, to which she fesses up about having her fashion choice being criticized by her actor husband Tom Cruise. "He usually likes everything, but sometimes I'll walk out and he'll say, 'I think that dress might be wearing you. You don't need that'," she reveals, adding "Tom has great taste."
But, when it comes to her own fashion choice, the 30-year-old film star has her favorite designers. She says, "I love Alaia, for sure. Stella McCartney. I like Ralph Lauren because I feel like it's very American, and I'm pretty all-American, from Ohio. Isabel Marant and a new designer, Sari Gueron."
Speaking of taste, Katie also opens up about what types of flicks she is into, saying "It can be any genre. I even like vampire movies - they just have to be well done. I want to believe in the characters. The minute it starts to feel not real, I'm not interested."
Juggling her acting career with motherhood, Katie confesses "In my own life, my whole world really revolves around family. I do what I need to do, but it's like, 'How is everybody else doing?' And it's wonderful for me as an actress to put some of that into a character."
