The concert's organizer has confirmed that 'all parties have reached an amicable understanding' regarding Beyonce's upcoming Malaysian performance.

AceShowbiz - Gearing up to kick off her much awaited Malaysian gig, Beyonce Knowles reportedly has agreed to tone down her upcoming performance in the Muslim-majority country in a bid to avoid protests. Entertainment company Marctensia, the concert's Malaysian organizer, tells AP that "all parties have reached an amicable understanding" about the performance, including that of the singer's stage costumes.

The company, furthermore, also addresses the criticism brought forth by the country's largest opposition group, Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, which wants authorities to scrap the October 25 show over concern that it would promote "Western sexy performances." The representative insists Beyonce should be regarded more as a "role model" and an "embodiment of success" due to her philanthropic work, including campaigns against poverty and domestic violence.

"We are confident that (the concert) will once and for all silence international critics and put Malaysia back on track ... in presenting A-list international pop concerts in this region," Marctensia concludes in a statement.

Beyonce Knowles was forced to cancel a concert in Kuala Lumpur back in November 2007 due to the country's strict dressing code rules. At that time her talent agency simply said the show was called off due to a scheduling conflict. She then moved her canceled show to neighboring country Jakarta, Indonesia which has less stringent rules about how performers should dress and behave.

Earlier this week, an announcement was posted on Beyonce's official website that "Beyonce for the first time ever has decided to make Malaysia part of her 'I am' World Tour."
