'Doing a track for my record with Dave Grohl on drums and Duff on bass tonight, it promises to be killer,' Slash announces on his Twitter.

AceShowbiz - Rock star Slash has, on Tuesday, September 22, announced on his Twitter account that he is recording a track with fellow musicians Dave Grohl and Duff McKagan. "Doing a track for my record with Dave Grohl on drums & Duff on bass tonight, it promises to be killer," he tweeted about the studio session.

Minutes later he tweeted again, "Great jamming w/Duff & Grohl tonight, the track is a killer intrumental, very heavy." Despite his tweets, the former guitarist of Guns N' Roses didn't spill the bean on what the track will be called.

And while little is known about the particular track, it has been reported that Slash has been listing the help of Iggy Pop, Nick Oliveri, Ronnie Wood, Flea, Jason Bonham, Stacy Ferguson, and Maroon 5's singer Adam Levine to support his upcoming debut album "Slash & Friends". The effort is expected to be released sometime next year.
