Being the third person after Siobhan Donaghy and Mutya Buena to leave the all-girl pop group, she will reportedly be replaced by solo star Jade Ewen.

AceShowbiz - All-girl trio Sugababes has been claimed to have lost a member for the third time. Daily Star's Playlist reported Amelle Berrabah, who joined the pop group after founder member Mutya Buena left in 2005, has walked out from the band. The departure news came in following reports of tension between the 25-year-old and bandmate Keisha Buchanan.

Commenting on the break-up rumor, Tinchy Stryder with whom Amelle achieved a solo number one single on U.K. chart told Halina Watts of Playlist that he didn't want to be blamed for making her a solo star. "It's hard to see anyone not being nice to Amelle because she's so sweet," he said. "I ain't spoke to her but I hope she's alright and they get back together."

The publication further reported that Jade Ewen who represented U.K. at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest will be filling in for the slot left vacant by Amelle. While Sugababes' spokeswoman would not comment on reports about any personnel changes, Jade's label Geffen recently released a statement, "Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we regret to inform you that Jade Ewen will be taking time off from all promotional activity for the forseeable future."

Sugababes has confirmed on Friday, September 18, that they will make their first proper live show of the year on November 29, so claimed Playlist. On the date, the band are expected to perform at T4's Stars of 2009 at London's Earls Court. Should Jade indeed join the group, the gig is likely to mark her debut as a member.
