The official site of 'Transformers' series' director Michael Bay has brought a little update for the sequel to 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen'.

AceShowbiz - Director Michael Bay has stated previously that he is taking a year off before developing the next "Transformers" movie, but words on the development of "Transformers 3" have been hyped up. In a recent post at his official site, Nelson of MichaelBay.com claimed that the filmmaker has provided a little update about the sequel to "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen".

"He will be meeting later this week with Steven Spielberg, and Ehren Kruger to discuss ideas for Transformers 3," so wrote Nelson. He further noted that Bay will have an idea whether the third "Transformers" movie will come out in theaters across the U.S. in the summer of 2011 or 2012 by the end of the week.

In addition to the "Transformers 3" news, Nelson also gave out info on other possible projects by the 44-year-old filmmaker. On "Pain & Gain" and "Bad Boys 3", he revealed that the movie about the story of body builders with a weakness for steroids, strippers, and quick cash and the latest installment of the "Bad Boys" series may come out in theaters "before or after Transformers 3".

"Transformers 3" is reportedly aimed for Independence Day holiday in 2011. Earlier, reports came out that director Michael Bay is likely to drop his involvement in the third film. However, he was quick to deny by posting a message at his Shoot for the Edit forums, "Hah, love press how they spin. Never said it - just wanted a vacation is more to the point. And no I don't read the good or the bad reviews."
