Directed by Kenny Ortega, this movie will be released in theaters across the world for a limited two-week engagement, starting on October 28.

At 2009 VMAs, MTV didn't only present the trailer of the much-anticipated movie. The network also kicked off the show with a special dedication to the late King of Pop. VMAs was opened with a long speech from Madonna and followed with a performance from an army of dancers who danced to some of Jackson's biggest hits. The tribute was peaked with Janet Jackson's appearance during which she sang her half of the "Scream" duet.
