The actress who portrays conservative Charlotte has finally been spotted joining her 'Sex and the City' co-stars, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall, on the sequel's set.

AceShowbiz - The fabulous four of "Sex and the City" was finally completed with the arrival of Kristin Davis. On Tuesday, September 8, the 44-year-old actress who takes on the role of conservative and traditional Charlotte was captured on camera with her co-stars, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall, on the New York set of "Sex and the City 2".

The joining of Davis came exactly a week after SJP was first spotted filming for this sequel in New York City last Tuesday, September 1. At the time, SJP was captured at the Upper East Side as Carrie Bradshaw in a white Halston dress and sky high gold Christian Louboutin heels with a Chanel clutch on her hand. On the same day, she was spotted joined by Chris Noth. Meanwhile, both Cattrall and Nixon were seen on the Big Apple set Thursday, September 3.

The sightings aside, it was reported that security has been increased on the set of the "SATC" sequel after some fans tried to grab Nixon. Upset by the situation, the 43-year-old allegedly canceled her scene and hid herself in her caravan. The New York Daily News quoted a source, "People were screaming and trying to push past guards. The fans were just too much. Security looked legitimately concerned for her safety."

As a result, the security of other stars was tightened. "They looked more like they were protecting the President than Sarah Jessica Parker," said an onlooker. "At one point, teenage girls were practically trampling each other trying to get to Sarah Jessica as she was walking back to her trailer, but her security team was shoving everyone out of the way."

A follow-up to 2008's "SATC", "Sex and the City 2" still has writer/director/producer Michael Patrick King behind the feature film. Its plot has been kept under tight wraps. This second big screen adaptation of the HBO's drama comedy series is expected to come out in theaters across the U.S. on May 28, 2010.
