One will be a suicide-bomber, another a CTU agent and the other a security for Middle Eastern leader.

AceShowbiz - "24" is adding more characters to the series and the execs have landed three actors to fit the roles. Rami Malek, Julian Morris and Hrach Titizian are signed for multi-episode arc in the eighth season to play a would-be suicide bomber, a CTU SWAT agent and a second-in-command of security respectively.

Malek's Marcos is an Arab American with sympathies toward radical Islam while Titizian's Nabeel is in charge of President Hassan's (Anil Kapoor) safety. Nabeel in particular will work against Mehran (Mido Hamada), the leader of an operative group in an Islamic country who seeks to harm the president. Little is known about Morris' character.

Not only revolving around the Middle Eastern leader and his opponents, the season will also see a ruthless leader by the name Bazhaev (Jurgen Prochnow) who heads an Eastern European organized crime syndicate. Another Russian mobster, Vladimir Laitanan, is played by Callum Keith Rennie.

On Jack Bauer's side, there are also fresh faces that come to aid him. Katee Sackhoff, Freddie Prinze Jr., Mykelti Williamson, John Boyd, Jennifer Westfeldt and Chris Diamantopoulos have all been hired as either CTU analyst or journalist.

"24" returns for the eighth and possibly last season with a two-night, four-hour premiere beginning January 17.
