AceShowbiz - A series of new photos from the upcoming musical "Nine" has made its rounds. Five in total, these fresh stills feature Daniel Day-Lewis as Guido Contini, Kate Hudson as Stephanie Necrophuros, Marion Cotillard as Luisa Contini, Penelope Cruz as Carla Albanese and Nicole Kidman as Claudia Nardi.
One of the pictures captures Hudson looking adoringly at Day-Lewis, while two others see Kidman touching her lips to Day-Lewis' and Cotillard looking down at him. Shots of Cruz manning the stage in nothing but sexy lingerie and Hudson performing with back-up dancers are also among the new stills found.
Adapted from the 1982 Tony-winning Broadway musical, "Nine" revolves around world famous film director Guido Contini. Dealing with a personal and professional crisis, he struggles to prepare his latest picture, while at the same time balancing the numerous women in his life from his wife and his mistress to his movie star muse and his mother.
This drama musical will see Judi Dench as Guido's confidant and costume designer Lily, Sophia Loren as Guido's mother, and Fergie aka Stacy Ferguson as Saraghina. It comes from the "Chicago" director Rob Marshall and the screenwriter duo Michael Tolkin and Anthony Minghella. It is expected to be released in the U.S. theaters on November 25.
