'The Bold and the Beautiful' finally gets its first Outstanding Drama Series title in years, the victory that unfortunately went off air from The CW.

AceShowbiz - The complete winners of 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards are revealed as the show wrapped up on Sunday, August 30 at Los Angeles' Orpheum Theatre. There is no domination apparent in the list, but the highlight of the day was when "The Bold and the Beautiful" finally nabbed the Outstanding Drama Series after years of being nominated under the category.

In its 22 years of running, "Bold and Beautiful" was denied the trophy while others like "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless" kept getting multiple wins. This year, "Bold and Beautiful" beat "All My Children" and "Days of Our Lives". Unfortunately, as the crew and cast were about to ascend the stage for acceptance speech, the show went off air from The CW due to over timing.

This is particularly an achievement for showrunner Bradley Bell whose father William J. Bell co-created "Restless". He said backstage, "It's incredibly exciting because I grew up going to visit that show. It's sweeter after 22 years, it didn't come in five or 10 or 15 years. I think my dad is here in spirit. He would probably say, 'It's about time.' I took out the expletive."

Another significant change in the winners list is the existence of "The View". The talk show has finally broken its Emmy curse by taking home Outstanding Talk Show Host for its five women, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherri Shepherd, Barbara Walters. None of them actually was present to claim the prize.

Network-wise, ABC once again grabbed the most number of wins with 17 nods.
