More Destruction in New '2012' Japanese Trailer

When the world is catastrophically on the verge of its end, some people fight to save humanity and others struggle to keep their family together.

AceShowbiz - Sony Pictures International has unraveled a brand new trailer for epic adventure "2012 (2009)". Coming from the film's official Japanese site, the two minutes sneak peek is in English with Japanese subtitles. It also offers more never-before-scene scenes, dialog between the characters as well as destruction sequences.

Interlacing the prophecy in Mayan calendar with natural disasters, this apocalyptic movie presents an epic adventure about a global cataclysm leading to the end of the world. Despite its end-of-the-world tone, this disaster movie will focus more on the heroic struggle of the survivors. Trailers and stills have exposed that Jackson Curtis, his ex-wife Kate and their two young kids are among the people struggling to stay alive amidst the disaster around them.

John Cusack and Amanda Peet stars as Jackson and Kate. They are supported by a list of star-studded cast that include Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt and Woody Harrelson. "The Day After Tomorrow" director Roland Emmerich helms and produces in addition to write the script. November 11 will be the day "2012" shook U.S. theaters.
