Beside giving a clue on what to expect from 'Run This Town' music video, the on-set footage also features a commentary from Jay-Z.

AceShowbiz - Jay-Z provides fans with a closer look at the filming process of "Run This Town" music video through an on-set clip. It features similar scenes shown in its previously-outed snippet where Jay-Z along with his collaborators Rihanna and Kanye West wear black outfits and gather in an indoor place with a bunch of extras who don similar costumes.

Explaining about what the new song is dealing with, Jay-Z said "[it] is pretty much about evolution and the progress." He added, "You start out as new artists and you make your way into the game and you climb that mountain and you get to the top and you put your flag down."

The video was filmed at Fort Totten Park in New York on August 6 and directed by Anthony Mandler. It is expected to be premiered on August 20 on all MTV platforms.

"Run This Town" is set to appear in Jay-Z's upcoming studio album "The Blueprint 3" which is due for September 11 U.S. release. This collaborative single becomes Rihanna's first studio project since her altercation with Chris Brown.
