Mariah Carey Pushing Back 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel' Again

In coincidence with 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel' new release date, Mariah Carey has called off several TV performances.

AceShowbiz - After being pushed back from August 25 to September 15, Mariah Carey's new album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" is once again delayed. The record is now confirmed to be put out for purchase across America on September 29.

"Mariah is putting the finishing touches on her newest album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, and we have shifted all of our TV and promo appearances to coincide with the new release date of September 29th," so it was announced on her official website. "We can't wait for the fans to hear the new album!!"

The live appearance which has been scrapped by Mariah is a scheduled performance at the "TODAY" show on August 28. Filling in the vacant slot left by her is Disney songstress Miley Cyrus. Mariah's canceled shows reportedly also include "VH1 Storytellers", 2009 MTV Video Music Awards and her Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony.

Previously, Mariah Carey was rumored to feel very nervous about Whitney Houston's comeback album "I Look to You" which will be dropped in U.S. on September 1. A source told New York Post's Page Six, "She's getting very nervous now that Whitney Houston is coming back."
