The Abomination Could Appear in Other Marvel Films
Movie

Tim Roth, the actor who portrayed Emil Blonsky aka The Abomination in 'The Incredible Hulk', confirmed that he has been signed by Marvel for three movies.

AceShowbiz - There is a chance that The Abomination may be brought back to the big screen. The speculation was sparked when Tim Roth, the actor who played this Hulk's nemesis in 2008's "The Incredible Hulk", confirmed to Sci Fi Wire that Marvel has approached him about reprising the role in future movies.

"They have, but in a very different way," the 48-year-old admitted in a group interview at the Television Critics Association summer press tour Thursday, August 6, in Pasadena, California while promoting his FOX series "Lie to Me". He added, "I don't want to get into it, but they signed me up for three [films]."

When pressed further whether he may reprise the villainous role for "The Incredible Hulk" sequels and "The Avengers", he played it coy with his answer. "It could be anything," he responded to the question without spilling any hint on which films may feature the monster that is more powerful and bigger in size than The Hulk.

The Abomination appears before the big screen in the recent installment of "Hulk" movie by director Louis Leterrier. He is the alter ego of Emil Blonsky, a near-retiring Royal Marine recruited by General Ross to hunt fugitive Bruce Banner, played by Edward Norton. Mad by his disastrous first encounter with the Hulk, Blonsky takes the unstable World War II Super Soldier Serum and is morphed into an Abomination.

"The Avengers" will pick up the story when the Earth's mightiest heroes will have to work together to battle the biggest foe they've ever faced. Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle and Samuel L. Jackson have all been confirmed to star in this film which is now set for May 4, 2012 U.S. release. Meanwhile, there are yet official words on a sequel to "The Incredible Hulk".
