Fresh 'New York, I Love You' Trailer Reeled In

Take a sneak peek at the romantic drama film from producer of 'Paris, je t'aime' that offers various kinds of love from first love to love denied found in the Big Apple's five boroughs.

AceShowbiz - Vivendi Entertainment has released a brand new trailer for "New York, I Love You". Posted via Apple, the sneak preview at the anthology film shares glimpses of the love stories found in New York, and describes the film's essence with words, "In a city of millions, everyone has their own love story from first love to love denied to everlasting love and everything in between."

An unofficial follow-up to 2007 romance drama "Paris, je t'aime", the movie highlights on love stories in five boroughs of the Big Apple which are conjoined together to form one whole movie. It is directed by 12 different helmers from the acclaimed Mira Nair and Shekhar Kapur to newcomers Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson.

However, it was reported earlier that Johansson's first directorial effort for a segment in the movie has ended up on the chopping block and will only be seen on the film's DVD release. On the decision of leaving out her piece from the big screen version, producer Emmanuel Benbihy mentioned that her work is "extreme departures from the other films", though he was "very much moved" by her "extremely compelling, albeit unconventional, narrative".

Shia LaBeouf, Shu Qi, Rachel Bilson, Kevin Bacon, Maggie Q, Robin Wright Penn, Orlando Bloom, Ethan Hawke, Blake Lively, Andy Garcia, Julie Christie, Christina Ricci and Hayden Christensen are among the star-studded cast ensemble. The movie will be screened in limited U.S. theaters October 16.
