AceShowbiz - Three weeks after Charlene Riva and Myla Rose came to the world, Roger Federer shares how his beloved twin daughters look like through their first public photo. The picture, which captures the tennis champion and his wife Miroslava Vavrinec aka Mirka cradling each of the girls, was made public on his Facebook account on Friday, August 7.
Accompanying the snap was Federer's account on who took the picture and how the shot was done. "As promised, here is a family picture that my dad took," he wrote. "He thinks he's becoming a professional photographer. It was very funny as both girls had the hiccups while we were trying to take a decent picture. The girls and mom are doing great. Thanks for all your warm wishes."
On another news, the 28-year-old is expected to return to competition earlier than expected for the Rogers Cup. In his first interview since winning Wimbledon in July, he revealed that his new family members will tag along. "I was obviously only going to do this if everything was safe and good," he assured when talking to The New York Times on Friday.
"Mirka went through a check yesterday," he further recalled on the family's preparation for the babies' first flight. "The babies have been at the hospital for 10 days, and everything is perfect. So we're doing it. Big family. Big trip. On the bandwagon. I'm really excited to see how we're going to manage it."
Roger Federer and his wife welcomed their twin baby girls on Thursday night, July 23, in Switzerland. A day following the big day, he posted the announcement on his official site and Facebook page, calling it to be "the greatest day of our lives". Back in March, the six-time Wimbledon champion announced that he and Mirka were expecting their first child. They tied the knot on April 11.
