AceShowbiz - Three women with three different things to deal with become the center of a brand new trailer for "The Burning Plain". Premiered via Yahoo! Movies, the promo video gives out first look at the three major characters, Charlize Theron's Sylvia, Kim Basinger's Gina and Jennifer Lawrence's Mariana.

This romantic drama from the Academy Award-nominated writer of "Babel", Guillermo Arriaga, follows beautiful restaurant manager Sylvia. When a stranger from Mexico confronts her with her mysterious past, she is forced to take an emotional journey back to the defining moment of her life that inextricably connects her to these disparate characters, a young motherless girl Maria, a housewife involved in an affair Gina, and Gina's daughter Mariana.

The film that marks Arriaga's directorial debut was premiered at the September 2008 Toronto International Film Festival before being an entrant of the international competition of 65th Venice International Film Festival. Supported by Joaquim de Almeida, John Corbett, Robin Tunney, Brett Cullen and Danny Pino, it will be released in limited U.S. theaters on September 18. A new poster for this movie has been outed by Collider.
