In a video blog, Nelly Furtado brings fans to the recording studio and reveals her intention to make a record in Spanish.

AceShowbiz - Three years after releasing the Grammy-nominated "Loose", Nelly Furtado will be back with a Spanish album which is also her fourth studio set. The effort is called "Mi Plan" or "My Plan" in English. She has released a video to preview what kind of music she includes in it.

"Recording this album was just a natural progression for me," Nelly describes how she came up with the idea. "I wanted my fourth album to be in Spanish. I just didn't really know when to start and then I met this amazing artist named Alex Cuba in Canada and we started writing songs together by coincidence. Then I realized I was writing songs in Spanish, and before I knew it, I hadn't written anything in English for a year."

Nelly is a Canadian singer with Portuguese inheritance running through her blood. She has made a collaboration with Latin artist Juanes in the song "Te Busque". About her love of the genre she says, "I love Latin pop music. So it was just a natural thing for me to do."

The album will be the first release from Nelly's newly-launched label Nelstar Music. The plan is to drop it in the U.S. market on September 29. First single is called "Manos al Aire" ("Hands in the Air") and it has been released in radios since late June.
