A new 2-minute clip from the sixth 'Harry Potter' series takes a closer look at the scene wherein Dumbledore preps Harry for their journey to the cave.

AceShowbiz - An extended clip from "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" has been unleashed in anticipation of the adventure fantasy's theatrical release which is around two weeks away. Clocking in at 2:17, the snippet is put out via iTunes and opens with an introduction from the "Harry Potter" trio, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.

The clip which starts at the 00:13 mark exposes first the scene wherein Professor Dumbledore gives Harry a warning about the danger of the cave and his rules that Harry has to follow. After Harry utters his promise, Dumbledore takes the boy wizard to the cave. Upon entering the cave, Dumbledore cuts his palm to pay the price of entrance.

Coming from the "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" helmer David Yates, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will deal with a darker matter than previous "Harry Potter" films. In it, dark wizard Lord Voldemort has expanded his terror, even to the safest haven of all, Hogwarts. And with the threat getting even closer now, Dumbledore prepares Harry for the worst that will ultimately strike them.

In addition to Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, the latest installment of the "Harry Potter" series features the likes of Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Tom Felton, Jessie Cave, Bonnie Wright, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane and many others. The David Heyman and David Barron-produced flick is scripted by Steven Kloves and will come out in U.S. theaters July 15.
