'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' Soundtrack Previewed

At the top of every hour, AOL Radio is presenting a preview of songs from the sixth 'Harry Potter' movie's soundtrack.

AceShowbiz - "Harry Potter" fans do not have to wait until July to get a taste of what "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" soundtrack has to offer. AOL Radio has announced that it gets its hands on an exclusive premiere of the sixth movie's soundtrack and streams each of the songs on AOL Radio's Movie Score Station at the start of every hour.

Composed by the man behind "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" anthems, Nicholas Hooper, the soundtrack album for "Half-Blood Prince" contains 28 tracks. Some of the songs listed in the complete tracklisting are "The Slug Party", "When Ginny Kissed Harry" and "Dumbledore's Farewell". The album will be made for purchase in United States on July 14, but fans can already pre-order it via Amazon.

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will center its story at the time when Voldemort's grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds is tightening. With Hogwarts no longer being the safe haven it once was, Dumbledore begins to prepare Harry for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Bringing in his old friend and colleague Professor Horace Slughorn, he works together with Harry to unlock Voldemort's defenses.

It stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Jessie Cave, Michael Gambon, Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright, Helena Bonham Carter and Robbie Coltrane among others. Rated PG, it is directed by David Yates. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the movie in U.S. on July 15.
