Private Funeral for Farrah Fawcett Set for June 30

A private funeral service to honor the late actress has been scheduled to be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles on June 30.

AceShowbiz - Family and friends of Farrah Fawcett are expected to attend a private funeral service for the late actress which has been set to be held next Tuesday, June 30 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles. The service is scheduled to be kicked off at 4 P.M. local time and will be closed to the public and media.

Farrah's son, Redmond James O'Neal, whom she has with longtime partner Ryan O'Neal, is expected to attend the service. Redmond reportedly has been granted a permit to leave jail to pay his last respects to his late mother. In the meantime, E! News reports that in addition to the planned funeral, "a similarly exclusive memorial will also be held Tuesday at the oceanside Jonathan Club in Santa Monica."

Farrah Fawcett lost her battle against anal cancer, which she was first diagnosed with back in 2006, on Thursday, June 25. She passed away at Saint John's Hospital in Santa Monica, Calif. where she'd been treated for more than two weeks due to complications for the particular disease. She was 62.

Some Hollywood celebrities, including the likes of Paula Abdul, Christina Applegate, Shooter Jennings, and Miley Cyrus, have all paid tribute to Farrah soon after hearing news of her death.
