AceShowbiz - Yahoo! Movies has scored an exclusive trailer for vampire thriller "Daybreakers". In 2017, an unknown plague transforms the world's population into vampires, making the remaining men on the planet the hunted. As the vampires capture and farm every remaining human, the population of the human race comes nears to extinction.
Before time runs out, they are forced to find a blood substitute. However, a covert group of vampires has another thing in mind. Aided by the help of a vampire researcher, they make a remarkable discovery to save the human race. The trailer presents a look at the main characters played by Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe and Sam Neill.
Shot in Australia from July to September 2007, "Daybreakers" comes from writer-director duo, Peter and Michael Spierig. "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" actress, Isabel Lucas, will also make an appearance in this thriller alongside Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Sam Neill and other cast members. January 8, 2010 will be the date it hits U.S. theaters.
