The trailer begins with a scene wherein Aldo Raine explains to a group of Jewish soldiers about his plan of making The Basterds. It then cuts to a confrontational scene in which Raine tries to extract information from a Nazi captive, Sgt. Werner Rachtman. When Rachtman refuses, Raine calls in his bat-swinging Donny Donowitz. Other footage seen in the new trailer include shots from the movie premiere attended by several Nazi leaders and Shosanna's preparation for revenge.

"Inglourious Basterds" is an ensemble war film from filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. Set in Nazi-occupied France, it begins when Shosanna Dreyfus witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa. Narrowly escaping the brutal murder, Shosanna flees to Paris, changes her identity and plans a revenge.

Elsewhere, Lieutenant Aldo Raine assembles a group of Jewish soldiers known as The Basterds and joins forces with German actress and undercover agent Bridget von Hammersmark. This World War II film will see Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Mike Myers and Eli Roth among others. It will open wide in theaters across the U.S. on August 21.
