'As far as the future of D12, we're gonna be back in the studio soon,' D12's member, Eminem, says of the group's reunion on BET's Rap City Special.

AceShowbiz - In an interview on BET's Rap City Special, Eminem confirms that D12 will hit recording booth for a new album. "Me and the guys, we got a bond, it's special. It's like, as far as the future of D12, we're gonna be back in the studio soon," so he says.

"Right now, my music would probably be the same if Proof was still alive," Eminem explains more. "I think this is what Proof always wanted, was for me to go crazy again. My life would be different because I would still have him."

Earlier this year, the band's member Bizarre also hinted on the group's reunion. "Everybody's in D12 and we're doing good. [A new album] is definitely going to happen. We're working on it right now, Marshall Mathers is coming out first with 'Relapse'...I'm on Eminem's album...I'm recording a couple of songs. Big up to Dr. Dre," he stated.

News that D12 will return to studio for a new album has been shared since 2006, a month after one of their personnel, Proof, was gunned down. However, the recording sessions for the album were stalled following the incarceration of their member Swifty. Since that time, this group took temporary timeout from releasing any record.
