Susan Boyle sang once again 'I Dreamed a Dream' which, although praised by the judges, was not enough to deliver her a winning.

AceShowbiz - In a shocking twist, Susan Boyle, whose videos on YouTube had received million of hits, lost to a dance troupe named Diversity on "Britain's Got Talent" after the Saturday, May 30 final. The voting ballot put Susan in the runner-up position, ahead of saxophonist Julian Smith who finished third.

Despite the news circulating that Susan almost quit the show due to the amount of pressure put on her, she delivered a reprise of "I Dreamed a Dream". Judge Piers Morgan, in particular, was very vocal about his support of her, saying "I'm not supposed to favor anyone, I should be impartial, but you know what, forget it. That was the greatest performance I've seen in Britain's Got Talent history. You should win this competition. I loved it!"

Amanda Holden praised her for standing up for Scotland while Simon Cowell said, "Win or lose, you had the guts to come back here tonight, face your critics, and you beat them. You can walk away from this with your head held high, Susan. I absolutely adore you."

Before the winner was announced, Susan showed her gratitude by saying "I want to thank the people for all the support they've given me, especially the people back home. Thank you very much."

Diversity consequently won the $160,000 in cash on top of a spot at Royal Variety Performance which audience will include the Queen. Winning one of the most-watched shows in Britain will also endure them a career in the showbiz.
