Wentworth Miller, the Michael Scofield of FOX's 'Prison Break', has sparked speculation of him to star in the Gore Verbinski's big screen adaptation of 'Bioshock'.

AceShowbiz - Despite the uncertainty looming around "Bioshock", Wentworth Miller reels in one interesting casting scoop. Posting a message on his Twitter account on Tuesday, May 26, the star of "Prison Break" teased on the possibility of him making an appearance in the big screen adaptation of Take-Two Interactive video game.
Making notes that the FOX's television series has come to an end, he further gave hint on his possible future project for feature film. "Prison Break may be ending, but I've got things in the works," the 36-year-old wrote. "Hint...one word: Bioshock." It is still unclear though what part he will be taking if he is indeed involved in the project.
Back in April, reports were making their round that the pre-production of "Bioshock" has come to a halt. It was said at the time that the delay has to be taken due to budgetary issue. According to Variety, Universal Pictures were taking steps to lower the rising cost in order to put the film within the budget range and were considering to move the shooting location from Los Angeles.
On the possible changes of location set, director Gore Verbinski fessed up, "We were asked by Universal to move the film outside the U.S. to take advantage of a tax credit." He then added, "We are evaluating whether this is something we want to do. In the meantime, the film is in a holding pattern."
The big screen version of "Bioshock" follows the story of a plane crash survivor named Jack. Exploring the underwater Objectivist-dystopian city of Rapture and surviving attacks by the mutated beings and mechanical drones that populate it, he discovers that his will is not as free as he'd thought. Universal Pictures expect to release the movie in 2010.
