Denzel Washington and John Travolta take turn in explaining about their character in Tony Scott's action thriller 'The Taking of Pelham 123'.

AceShowbiz - An exclusive behind-the-scenes look at "The Taking of Pelham 123" has been shared by ET Online. Nearly 6 minutes long, the featurette is filled with some tense moments and dramatic scenes from the action thriller as well as commentary from two of the film's leading men, Denzel Washington and John Travolta.

Opened with a scene wherein Travolta's Ryder contacts control center and gets in touch with Washington's Walter Garber, it cuts to a snippet of an interview with Washington in which he explains what kind of man he is portraying. Then, another scene takes over before Travolta is seen sharing his insight on playing baddie. "Playing a bad guy is always a freeing experience - because you don't have the same envelope of restrictions that you have playing a good guy," so he claimed.

Pairing up Denzel Washington and John Travolta, "The Taking of Pelham 123" is a remake of the original 1974 film. It is written by Brian Helgeland and directed by Tony Scott. The movie which centers its story on the hijacking of a subway train by a highly-armed gang of four is slated for U.S. release on June 12.
