'Leave Mariah Carey alone. That's my friend, man,' Busta Rhymes says in response to Eminem shooting down Mariah Carey in song 'Bagpipes From Baghdad'.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Busta Rhymes reacts to Eminem's controversial lyrics in the Detroit rapper's new song "Bagpipes From Baghdad", which mocks Mariah Carey. "Leave Mariah Carey alone. That's my friend, man," Busta tells Rap-Up.

Though so, Busta admits that he doesn't really know what is going on between Eminem and Mariah. That's why he prefers not to give any further comment on that matter. "At the end of the day, I don't know what their situation was, so I can't really speak on it," he emphasizes.

Despite the mockery issue, Busta "just hopes they [Eminem and Mariah] could be cool" with each other. "Eminem is my peoples as well. I got great relationships with both of them," Busta says about him wishing them to get along.

Busta Rhymes is the second person who addresses Eminem's mockery toward Mariah Carey. Previously, Mariah's husband Nick Cannon reached out to his blog, blasting the Slim Shady for shooting down his wife. "Calling my wife a 'c***' and a 'whore' is way worse than anything Don Imus could have ever said," Nick wrote. "Miss Marshall, I'm going to make you wish you never spoke my name and regret the ungodly things you said about my wife."
