Ashanti Will Be Dropped From The Inc., Record Label's Founder Says

'We don't really speak or talk or anything like that,' Irv Gotti from recording company The Inc. says of his professional relationship with Ashanti, adding that he's 'gonna just drop her.'

AceShowbiz - Ashanti will be seen walking out of The Inc. because Irv Gotti, one of the label's founders, has opened up his desire to end their professional relationship. "The relationship has run its course," so Irv explained to MTV during his visit to the network's office. "I'm gonna just drop her."

"The chemistry of what's needed - we're in two totally different places," Irv continued. "You're talking to somebody that took her and shaped and molded her and put her out there for the world, and it blew up. We [hold the record] for the [fastest] selling debut by a female R&B artist - 503 [thousand]. We did it! My views and philosophies and her views and philosophies are not meeting up."

"We don't really speak or talk or anything like that," Irv shared concerning his recent professional relationship with Ashanti. "It's sad in a way. But in another, it's like it's all good."

Though they will be parting ways anytime soon, Irv still feels optimistic about Ashanti's future career in music industry. "I personally believe for her to be successful, it took the energy ... when you seen her, it was 30 n---as around her, and she's the princess so nice and pretty walking through," he said.

Ashanti started her professional relationship with Irv Gotti after she was asked to lend her vocals to other artists' songs in early 2000. She had collaborated with Ja Rule, Jennifer Lopez and Fat Joe. Under Irv's recording company, she also had released four studio efforts and three compilations, just to name some.
