A representative for Amy Winehouse has confirmed that the British songstress has been hospitalized due to dehydration.

AceShowbiz - Amy Winehouse was hospitalized after collapsing in St. Lucia on the Caribbean island on Friday, May 1. It was later on revealed by her representative that she was treated for dehydration.
According to various reports, Amy was running around with children in St. Lucia when she suddenly fainted. She was rushed to the emergency room of a hospital, which name was not disclosed. "It turned out it wasn't caused by a reaction to her medication, she was actually dehydrated," confirmed her spokesperson. "So she's been told to drink lots of water and will hopefully be released later."
No record has been issued by Amy's camp about her latest condition. It is also not known if the British troubled singer is still hospitalized or not.
Amy Winehouse has been staying on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia for quite some time. She spends her time there hanging out with locals and their children. As of press time, there haven't been words if she is having plans to record a new album in the near future.
