A representative for Liev Schreiber confirms that the actor and partner Naomi Watts' son, Alexander Pete Schreiber, is feeling "much better" following brief hospitalization for respiratory problems.

Confirming the little boy's latest condition is Liev's representative Ina Treciokas who tells People, Alexander currently is back home with the family.

Back on Tuesday night, April 28, Liev was forced to miss the Los Angeles premiere of his film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" after he was alerted that Alexander was rushed to the hospital for respiratory issues. The actor, who plays Sabretooth in the action-fantasy film, quickly flew back to New York City to be with his partner Naomi, and sons Alexander and Samuel Kai.

No further explanation about the respiratory problems that Alexander has. The name of the hospital where he's been treated also isn't disclosed, but it has been confirmed that he was discharged from the facility on Wednesday morning, April 29.

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber have been together since 2005. They welcomed the arrival of eldest son Alexander Pete Schreiber on July 28, 2007, and youngest son Samuel Kai Schreiber on December 13 last year.
