Arnold Schwarzenegger Hints on Cameo in 'Terminator Salvation'
Movie

During a webcast interview, actor-turned-California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed that he has agreed to be in 'Terminator Salvation' as long as he didn't have to perform.

AceShowbiz - A month away from "Terminator Salvation" theatrical release, Arnold Schwarzenegger addressed the rumors on him making a cameo on the action thriller's fourth film. During a webcast interview on Tuesday, April 21, the Governator told blogger Bill Bradley on his involvement in the project, stating that he has met director McG.

"I made it very clear that I don't have the time to do the movie," the 61-year-old California governor furthermore explained as quoted by Los Angeles Times. "I said that I would be willing to be in the movie if they get the technology together, and so they are working on that right now." He then added, "I think it's cool to continue on with the franchise ... in case I want to jump over again and get into the acting after I'm through here."

SPOILER ALERT. As for his cameo part, Los Angeles Times reported that in this movie, the "Collateral Damage" star would be seen in a brief scene wherein Christian Bale's John Connor encounters him as a "future Terminator".

"Terminator Salvation" comes from McG, the man who directed "Charlie's Angels" and "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle". Written by Jonathan Nolan, John D. Brancato and Michael Ferris, it stars Christian Bale as John Connor and Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright. Moon Bloodgood, Common, Bryce Dallas Howard, Helena Bonham Carter and Anton Yelchin will also be seen among the cast ensemble.

It centers on the time human survivors join John Connor and his resistance army in the battle against the Skynet's killing robots. Amidst the gruesome battle, Marcus Wright, a stranger whose past could not be justified, comes along and joins the army. While Connor is struggling to decide whether Wright has been sent from the future or rescued from the past, he and Wright uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind. Warner Bros. will distribute this film in U.S. theaters on May 21.
