Lupe Fiasco, The Cure, K'Naan, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and My Bloody Valentine among others wrap up 2009 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 19.

AceShowbiz - Day three of this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was glittered by star-studded performances, including appearances from rapper Lupe Fiasco. Among other songs performed by Lupe at the event were "Kick Push" and "Streets on Fire".

After that, Somali-Canadian artist K'Naan appeared on one of the festival's smaller tents. He entertained concertgoers at the concert with such tracks as "If Rap Gets Jealous" and "T.I.A.", which come from his third studio album "Troubadour".

Other musical guests headlining the third day of the festival included The Cure, My Bloody Valentine and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, who all performed on the main stage of the gig. Public Enemy, Paul Weller and Lykke Li also sang at the concert, taking the outdoor stage, while Friendly Fires and The Orb took the Sahara tent.

2009 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was conducted at the Empire Polo Club near Palm Springs in Indio, California from April 17 to 19. The event was kicked off with live appearances from Franz Ferdinand, Paul McCartney, The Ting Tings and many more. The second day of the gig followed with M.I.A., Fleet Foxes and The Killers' performances.

During the three-day music festival, more than 20 concertgoers were arrested by police mostly for drug- and alcohol-related crimes. A handful of people had been taken to hospital, but no serious injuries or accidents had occurred. Celebrities spotted attending the concert were Reese Witherspoon and boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal. Also seen among the crowd were Paris Hilton and Dita Von Teese.
