Star-Studded Extravaganza for '17 Again' L.A. Premiere

Jonas Brothers, 'High School Musical' cast and season 8 contestants of 'American Idol' were only some of the celebrities seen strutting on the red carpet of '17 Again' Los Angeles premiere.

The Los Angeles premiere of "" has become the event for young and old. On Tuesday, April 14, the special screening for the upcoming comedy was held at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California, and saw the attendance of many celebrities from teenage sensation to former "Friends" star .

Coming to the premiere were most of the film's cast, including Perry, , , , , , and . They were joined by producer Adam Shankman and director Burr Steers on the red carpet.

The stars and crew aside, the remaining season 8 contestants of "" were also present at the special occasion. Some of Efron's co-stars in "", , , Olesya Rulin and Monique Coleman, were also spotted attending.

In addition to those celebrities, other guests making an appearance on the red carpet of the film's premiere included , , , , , and producer/director Judd Apatow.

Focusing on the adventure of self-discovery, "17 Again" centers its story on 37-year-old Mike O'Donnell who is given a second chance in life when he miraculously transformed back to the age of 17. Stuck in the body of his old self, he now has to win over his estranged wife and kids back before really losing the best things that ever happened to him. This comedy film will open in U.S. theaters this Friday, April 17.
