AceShowbiz - Feeling sorry for the controversy he has caused for publicly telling Miley Cyrus to "make a sex tape" and "do some heroin" during his radio show "The Foxxhole" over the weekend, Jamie Foxx has made a public apology to the teen sensation during his appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" Tuesday, April 14. "I so apologize to [Cyrus], and this is sincere," the actor-singer was quoted as saying.

He furthermore explained, "I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don't mean any of it. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far." He continued stating, "I have a radio show ... We're really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn't mean it maliciously. You know I'm a comedian. You know my heart."

At the end, Jamie said, "Miley, I apologize, so I'll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand." At time of writing, it is not known if Jamie has made a call to Miley. The Disney actress-singer herself has not yet made a single comment on the issue.

Taking aim at Miley Cyrus for publicly vowing to ruin Radiohead's career after the band refused to meet her at the 51st annual Grammy Awards back on February 8, Jamie Foxx and the crew on his "The Foxxhole" radio show made harsh comment toward the 16-year-old star. He told her to "grow up, ..... get like Britney Spears, ...... do like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian and get some crack in your pipe ..... And catch chlamydia on a bicycle seat."
