Concert promoters want 5 million dollars from T-Pain's camp as a compensation of the damages caused by his cancellation over Guyana live show.

AceShowbiz - T-Pain has been sued by concert promoters Hits and James Entertainment due to scrapping his scheduled concert in Guyana earlier last month. The promoters are seeking at least $5 million for breach-of-contract against the rapper, his Nappy Boy Touring company and promotions firm Chase Entertainment.

The promoters say they have paid T-Pain and his entourage a $75,000 advance, but then were left with a no-show following reports of death threats. As a result, they were forced to find a last minute replacement.

T-Pain's management team have "offered to return the $75,000 advance payment and to assist with the damage control." But, the promoters claim it will not "remedy the disappointment to the Guyanese fans."

"We feel horrible about not being able to play the concert," David Abram from Chase Entertainment responds to the lawsuit. "We are going to do what needs to be done to make this right with the promoters. They're a good company. We're a good company."

T-Pain was supposed to perform in Guyana, South American on Monday night, February 23 to headline a live concert held as part of Mashramani festival to celebrate Guyana's independence from Britain. However, he dropped it off after reportedly receiving "credible death and kidnapping threats" from unidentified attacker via e-mail messages and telephone calls.

The cancellation has left the concert promoter devastated as they have booked a "four-star hotel or better" with Cartoon Network and 24-hour room service, a stadium dressing room with a private bathroom, and bottles of Grey Goose, Gran Patron Platinum and Hennessy, Gatorade and herbal tea. They have also provided T-Pain's outrageous demand, including a private jet, FBI protection, and a phone call with Guyana's president.
