Lindsay Lohan Remembers Former On-Screen Mother Natasha Richardson

"I didn't see much of her over the years but I will miss her," Lindsay Lohan says in a statement when expressing her grief in the wake of Natasha Richardson's death.

AceShowbiz - On the evening of Natasha Richardson's death Wednesday, March 18, Lindsay Lohan offered condolences, expressing her mourning upon losing the late actress, who plays her on-screen mother in the 1998 family film "The Parent Trap". In a statement released to Access Hollywood, Lindsay said she remembered Natasha as "a wonderful woman and actress" who always treated her like she was "her own." "I didn't see much of her over the years but I will miss her," Lindsay stated.

Lindsay, additionally, also expressed his sympathy for Natasha's actor husband Liam Neeson and their two sons; Micheal Richard Antonio and Daniel Jack. "My heart goes out to her family. This is a tragic loss," Lindsay said at the end of her statement.

Lindsay Lohan was 12 years old when she starred as Hallie Parker/Annie James in "The Parent Trap," the movie that brought her to international stardom. The film teamed her up with Natasha Richardson, who starred as Elizabeth James.

Natasha, who passed away on Wednesday, March 18 after experiencing a fall during a skiing lesson earlier in the week, was also remembered by Nick Moore who directed her in her last movie "Wild Child." Nick said he was "shock and deeply saddened" by the death of the late actress, adding that he remembered her as a "wonderfully generous and kind" person.
