'Dancing with the Stars' has axed one of the dancing couples who earn the lowest total combination of judges score and audience votes.

AceShowbiz - This will be the first elimination round on "Dancing with the Stars". The bottom two will have a face-off to determine who should go. So far, Steve Wozniak and Karina Smirnoff as well as Steve-O are in the bottom list of the judges score from the past two weeks performance, but audience vote will be accumulated to reveal who actually are the bottom two.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy open the night with their performance, accompanied by the professional dancers doing a swing. Steve-O who had missed yesterday's dancing explains his latest condition, emphasizing that nothing was broken when he decided to do a flip at the last minute during the rehearsal.

The hosts are announcing who are safe for another round of dancing next week. In no particular order, they are Lawrence Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska; Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas; Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough; and David Alan Grier and Kym Johnson. The next four couples safe for another week are Denise Richards and Maksim Chmerkovskiy; Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani; Lil' Kim and Derek Hough; and Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke.

The announcement takes a break with a performance by Macy's Star of Dance and Jewel Kilcher. The latter sings "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" to serenade the dancing of two pro dancers that only join the show this season, Chelsie Hightower and Dmitry Chaplin.

The rest of couples making it to the next level are Holly Madison and Dmitry Chaplin; Ty Murray and Chelsie Hightower; and Steve-O and Lacey Schwimmer. This consequently brings Belinda Carlisle and Steve Wozniak in the bottom two.

They are allowed to decide on performing one of the dances that they had performed. In the showdown, the judges will give them a new set of scores which will be added to the audience votes in the past two weeks.

Belinda and her partner Jonathan Roberts are up first with their salsa. Criticized for her hip work, the judges praise her to have made improvement. The score is 5-6-6, 17 out of 30 which is 1 point less than last night's. Steve and Karina did their quickstep routine. Similarly, the judges think the computer wiz does not have the element to be a great dancer but he is fun to watch. The score is 6-5-6, 17 out of 30 which is the same score they got last night.

Combined with the total votes from the audience, the first couple to go is Belinda Carlisle and Jonathan Roberts.
