'Fast and Furious' Speeds Up World Premiere in L.A.

Weeks before 'Fast and Furious' is set to crash into theaters, Universal Pictures have rolled down red carpet in front of Gibson Amphitheatre, Los Angeles for the films' world premiere event.

AceShowbiz - "Fast and Furious" won't be hitting U.S. theaters until April 3, but Universal Pictures have held a special screening event to mark the action movie's world premiere. On Thursday, March 12, the studio rolled down red carpet in front of Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles to welcome cast, crew and celebrity guests.

All four of the film's stars, Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster were present on the special night. On the red carpet, they were joined by co-star Gal Gadot, director Justin Lin, writer Chris Morgan, and producers Michael Fottrell and Neal H. Moritz.

Apart from the cast and crew, Universal Pictures' toppers, David Linde and Marc Shmuger, also attended the special event. Meanwhile, Bai Ling, Briana Evigan, Shar Jackson, Jamie Chung, James Kyson Lee, Michael Jai White, Alison Brie, Peter Fonda, and N.E.R.D's Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams were seen among the celebrity guests.

"Fast and Furious" brings back fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto and agent Brian O'Conner. When a crime brings them back to L.A., the two reignites their feud. However, as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, the two must work together and trust each other to outmanuever him. And from convoy heists to precision tunnel crawls across international lines, they will find the best way to get revenge is by pushing the limits of what's possible behind the wheel.
