Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley to Sing at 'American Idol'

Carrie Underwood will make a duet with Randy Travis, while Brad Paisley will perform solo at 'American Idol' Grand Ole Opry week.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have both been appointed as musical guests at "American Idol" Grand Ole Opry week on Wednesday, March 18. Another country music singer set to sing at the FOX's reality singing competition is Randy Travis.

Carrie is scheduled to share stage with Randy, singing his 1988 self-written song called "I Told You So". Meanwhile, Brad is going to perform solo, delivering a new track entitled "Then" from his upcoming studio album.

"I am always thrilled to return to the 'Idol' stage, and am so proud to this time be bringing with me one of my heroes, Randy Travis," Carrie shared her excitement concerning the forthcoming show. "I knew the Opry first, but Idol gave me my start and helped lead me to the Opry stage. It's a great feeling to be able to help bring these two worlds together."

"American Idol" has 11 remaining contestants; Lil Rounds, Allison Iraheta, Alexis Grace, Kris Allen, Danny Gokey, Megan Joy Corkrey, Scott MacIntyre, Anoop Desai, Adam Lambert, Michael Sarver, and Matt Giraud. On March 17, one day before the Grand Ole Opry week, they are required to sing country songs in front of judges with Randy Travis serving as their mentor.
