Playing the villainous Lord Blackwood in Guy Ritchie's 'Sherlock Holmes', Mark Strong lets it slip on how the drama thriller starring Robert Downey Jr. comes to an end.

AceShowbiz - Mark Strong has spilled the bean on the final scene of "Sherlock Holmes". In an interview with Total Film, the actor who portrays Lord Blackwood in the movie described what his character and Robert Downey Jr.'s will do, promising that the particular scene will be amazing.

"There's a fantastic sequence where we duel to the death on a half-built Tower Bridge," the Archy of "RocknRolla" unraveled in the magazine's next issue which will be on sale on Thursday, March 5. "It's a perfect way to end the movie, Robert and I hammering seven bells out of each other on top of this swinging bridge with Victorian London as a backdrop. It's going to be amazing."

Beside opening up about the film's ending, Strong also talked about his character, saying "There's a touch of Dracula about him." He added, "He needed to have an element of showmanship about him by virtue of the fact that he's trying to persuade everyone around him that he's so in league with the Devil that he's able to conquer death. I just wanted to make him an equal adversary of Sherlock Holmes."

Based on Lionel Wigram's upcoming comic book, "Sherlock Holmes" is to center on the adventures of the famed 19th Century detective. This action thriller film will see Robert Downey Jr. as the titular character, Jude Law as Dr. John Watson, and Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler, Holmes' love interest. It is due for December 25 U.S. release.
