A panel of 12 judges have determined that Hosea Rosenberg's meals were 'steady across the board' and therefore he is the 'Top Chef'.

AceShowbiz - The ultimate course has won a man the title of "Top Chef". On the finale of the cooking competition, two were unable to satisfy the panel of judges consisting of twelve people, as much as Hosea Rosenberg. His final three courses beat those by Carla Hall and Stefan Richter.

"It felt amazing to win, but to have it come down neck and neck with Stefan just made it all that sweeter," Hosea gushed after the winning. "That was the icing on the cake. This is one of the biggest accomplishments of my life. I know a lot of people are going to be proud of me for this. I could not be happier."

The three chefs, as announced by Tom Colicchio, were to cook "the best three-course meal of your life" for diners at Commander's Palace. While it may sound like an easy challenge, the hors d'oeuvres required them to also add alligator in the menu. They received the assistance of previous contestants with Hosea picking Richard (season 4), Stefan taking Marcel (season 2) and Carla getting Casey (season 3).

Carla met a roadblock when her souffle did not rise and she decided not to include it. Stefan meanwhile, decided on making a soup out of the alligator. However, it was Hosea's meal that ultimately impressed the judges and won him 100,000 dollars apart from the prestigious title.
