All Three Leads Exposed in New 'Sherlock Holmes' Photo
Movie

Fresh image from Guy Ritchie's 'Sherlock Holmes' puts together Robert Downey Jr.'s Sherlock Holmes, Jude Law's Dr. John Watson and Rachel McAdams' Irene Adler in one scene.

AceShowbiz - Sherlock Holmes, Dr. John Watson and Irene Adler are seen together for the first time in the newly released image of "Sherlock Holmes". While some of the on-set pictures and several stills have exposed both Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law as their characters earlier, the new pic courtesy of USA Today has displayed the two actors sharing screen with their co-star Rachel McAdams.

The new still came out in accompaniment of the trade's article about Downey Jr.'s thought over his Academy Award nomination for his role in "Tropic Thunder". "It's so funny to me that the role is a guy who is an Oscar-seeking moron. His whole motivation is Oscars," the actor was quoted as saying. "Irony is synonymous with pretty much everything that is going on."

Back to "Sherlock Holmes", the first major big-screen version of "Sherlock Holmes" in more than 20 years has been undergoing production for quite some time now. The principal photography has been moved from the streets of London to Brooklyn last month, and it is expected to wrap sometime this week.

To bring up a new portrayal of Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous characters, the movie will see Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson on their latest challenge. Having lethal fighting skills in addition to his legendary intellect, Holmes attempts to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the Warner Bros. film is due for November 13 U.S. release.
